Rita Jean Bauer Cole,
76 of Zionsville, passed away September 4, 2014. She was born on April 30, 1938 in Sandwich, IL to Vernon and Nellie Bauer. Rita loved art and was an artist herself. She was also a gifted cook, and had several awarding winning recipes.
She is survived by her children, Karen Cole, Kevin (Angela) Cole, John (Heather) Cole, and Julia Cole; and grandchildren, Micah, Sophia, Charley, and Rosalie Cole. Rita was preceded in death by her parents; brother, David; sister, Norma-Sue; and daughter, Regina.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
