Robert Harris Netzorg,
100 born November 4, 1914 in Youngstown, OH, passed away January 11, 2015. He was the son of Leo and Estelle Selig Netzorg. Robert moved to Indianapolis in 1930 with his mother and two brothers, the late Leo and Sidney Netzorg. Robert graduated from Shortridge High School and attended Butler University and Indiana University. He served in the United States Army during World War II. Bob was employed by Capital Paper Co. and served as Vice President and General Sales Manager.

He was a lifelong member of Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation, as his grandfather, Moses Selig, served as past president. Bob served on the Executive Board of the Temple as well as President of its Brotherhood. He also was President of B'nai Brith Lodge #58 and was a 50 year member of its bowling league.

Bob was an avid golfer at Broadmoor Country Club as well as an exceptional bridge player. In his retirement years, he volunteered for Meals on Wheels and became an active member of Kiwanis Meridian Hills, mentoring students, fundraising, and being honored as Kiwanian of the year.

Robert and his wife of blessed memory, Phyllis, were married for 72 years. He is survived by his daughter, Linda Klezmer; son, Ronald; niece, Sydney Eymer; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandsons.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 14th in Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation South Cemetery at 2 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation or the Hooverwood Guild.
