Graveside services will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2016 in Beth-El Zedeck North Cemetery for Roberta "Robbie" Sachs who passed away on March 22, 2016 in Arizona.
Robbie had many friends and family. She worked 17 years at Avnet Electronics as product specialist in the wonderful world of electronics. Robbie was always dressed head to toe matching in the latest fashion including shoes; jewelry and her wallet!
Robbie always had a positive attitude; cheerful smile and a contagious laugh. Her personality
was infectious. She loved to have a good time with friends and family. Cost or time
was never a barrier to a good time. When her mother could no longer live alone, Robbie moved her to Arizona and took excellent care of her for the last 10 years of her life.
Robbie was a big fan of the Diamondbacks and dressed appropriately with her colored beads and baseball earrings for the games. She even attended a Reds Game in Chicago. Robbie participated in cancer walks with friends and volunteered for seniors with her service dog,Max, at Hospice of the Valley as well as worked at the Political Polls after she retired from Avnet.
Most of all, Robbie loved shopping even taking a "sick day" to be the first to get to the opening day of the Chandler Fashion Mall. Annually she cleaned out her closets and shared with her Avnet friends whatever they wanted to pick and choose. Shopping, animals and deli's were Robbies loves not necessarily in that order. All were equal!
Robbie's forever plan: "Life should be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body." I believe Roberta Sachs achieved her PLAN.
