Robert "Bob" R. Emmett

Robert “Bob” R. Emmett, Sr., 93, passed away on August 28, 2021 in Fort Wayne, IN.  He was born on May 27, 1928 in Chicago, IL, to the late Thomas and Mary Evelyn (Nolan) Emmett.

Bob served in the Air Force of the United States and spent most of his life working as a banker.  Bob had a heart for the homeless and disadvantaged.  He and his wife, Peggy, devoted many hours in downtown Indianapolis providing supplies and food to the homeless.

Bob is survived by his children, Marcy Kamaka, Meg (Jack) Masterson, Jamie Martin, Rob Emmett, Mark (Sandy) Emmett, Patrick Emmett, Maureen (Dave) Hughes, and Michael Emmett, sister, Bette Vaughan, and a multitude of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grand-children, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy, son, Tommy, and sister, Anne Galvin.

Memorial donations may be made to Saint Anne Communities or Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Wayne .

At Bob’s request, no funeral services will be held.
