Ronald Harry Grumbacher

Ronald Harry Grumbacher, 72, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022. He was born on January 16, 1950, to parents Rudy and Margaret Grumbacher.  Ron left a legacy of integrity and generosity.  He was giving of his time, his endless wisdom, and his caring heart.  He embodied a love for life, his friendships, and his family.  Ron enjoyed spending his time on the golf course, riding his horse, walking with his sweet dog, Rudy, and laughing with his loved ones.  After graduating from Muncie Central High School, he attended Indiana University - Bloomington where he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity and earned his degree in business.

Ron Grumbacher was dedicated and hardworking.  His work ethic and sales skills started early... as a freckled face little boy selling his toys from his little red wagon to operating his own successful business.  Ron began his career in the wholesale carpet business at State Distributing but spent most of years in the medical device space at Howmedica and then as owner of RM Medical, a distributor for Stryker Orthopedics and Stryker Spine.  With his entrepreneurial spirit, Ron was always looking for the next innovative business opportunity.

Ron is survived by his wife of 4 years, Deborah; daughter, Stephanie Holmes-Gullans (John); stepchildren, Erin and Jim Sunday; grandchildren, Lauren and Matthew Grumbacher, William Holmes, Leilani Gullans, Stella and Sylvie Newman; mother to his children, Mary (Osborn) Grumbacher.  He was proceeded in death by his parents, Rudy and Margaret (Lasky) Grumbacher; his brother, Lewis Grumbacher; and his son, Jason Grumbacher.

Funeral services will begin at 4pm on Sunday, July 31, 2022, at Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Funeral Home, 11411 N. Michigan Rd., Zionsville, IN 46077.  Visitation will be held from 2pm until the time of the service.
