Ronald Craig Hasler

Ronald "Big Ron" Craig Hasler, 63, of Indianapolis, passed away from this life on Wednesday, February 1, 2023.  Ron was born in Anderson, Indiana on August 15, 1959, to the late John W. and Ada L. Hasler.  Ron grew up in Anderson and graduated from Anderson High School in 1978.  Ron graduated Lincoln Technical Institute in 1980 where he learned to be an Auto Mechanic.  Ron worked for many years as an auto mechanic.

Ron loved to work on his truck and even did some 4-wheeling and mudding.  He enjoyed going on fishing trips with his friends and he had good luck keeping a saltwater tank and fish.  He enjoyed time with friends on NASCAR Sunday’s and cookouts.  Ron was an avid fan of the Indianapolis Colts.  Ron enjoyed cooking and was always trying new recipes.  In the past several years, Ron enjoyed growing vegetables in his raised bed garden.

Ron is survived by his nephew, Justin Miller.  Ron is preceded in death by his parents, John and Ada Hasler; and sisters, Sheri (Jim) Miller and Cinda (Mike) Smith.

Services for Ron will be held at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery, 6895 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Garden, 58 H, Anderson, IN 46013 on March 17, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. for graveside inurnment.
