Ronald Dean Wiesjahn

Ronald Dean Wiesjahn, 65, of Indianapolis, entered into the arms of his loving Heavenly Father on January 18, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.

Ron was born in Beech Grove, Indiana on April 20, 1956 and grew up in Decatur Township.  He participated in baseball, football, and basketball all his life. Ron was a Godly Christian man with a heart to share and teach God’s word wherever and whenever God led and gave opportunity.

Ron married Peggy Jean (Brenton) Wiesjahn on August 28, 1976, and the couple raised eight biological children, Rebekah Joy (Andrew Barnett), Ruth Naomi, Rachel Hope (Joseph Barnett), Matthew Jacob (Ashley Tommis), Anna Faith (Michael Mannix), Mary Leah (Nicholas Morgan), Benjamin Donald, and Isaiah Thomas (Mia Shah).  They also helped to raise many other children throughout the years, including two sons they loved as their own, Donald Shaffer (Elizabeth Sullivan) and Christopher Shaffer (Katy Mcginnis).

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Peggy; their eight children; nineteen beloved grandchildren; his sister, Debra Jo Wiesjahn; and his brother, Danny Ray Wiesjahn (Lisa Lindenschmidt).

Ron was loved by all!
