Ronna Cohen

August 2, 1937 — July 7, 2016

Ronna "Ronnie" Crespy Cohen,
passed away Thursday, July 7th at the age of 78 in California. She is survived by her beloved family; her husband of 57 years, Leon; daughter, Esther (Bret); sons, Sam (Becky), Dave (Jody) and Gil (Kim); grandchildren, K.T., Dylan, David, Quentin, Monya, Max and Ben. She is also survived by her brother, Morty (Marilyn) and sister, Tilly. Ronnie was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Isaac, and 9 siblings.

Ronnie grew up in Philadelphia and later moved to Indianapolis to marry Leon and raise their family. Ronnie and Leon spent their later years in Northern California to be near kids and grandkids. Ronnie enjoyed finding treasures at nearby flea markets and garage sales, stopping whenever and wherever a sign caught her eye. Frequently referred to as Mother Nature, she loved indoor plants and her "green thumb" was not only a hobby but an inspiration to others.

Family was the most important thing to Ronnie and "family" will miss and love her always.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 11:00 AM in ARN Funeral & Cremation Services, 11411 North Michigan Road, Zionsville, IN 46077. Burial will follow in Etz Chaim Sephardic Cemetery.
