Russell Scott Kowlowitz,
age 24, passed away on the morning of Sunday, February 28, 2016 in Indianapolis. Russell began his education at Sycamore School for Gifted Children before attending high school at Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School. At Brebeuf, Russell excelled in tennis, a sport to which his beloved late mother, Barbara Kowlowitz, introduced him. Russell later attended Indiana University to study Arts Management and Music. After his college graduation, Russell's family glowed with pride upon his acceptance to the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
Russell was a gregarious and kind person known for his contagious smile and charismatic charm. For Russell, every stranger was a friend whom he had not yet met.
Russell is survived by his father, Edward Kowlowitz; his younger sister, Allison Kowlowitz; and his paternal grandparents, Norman and Barbara Kowlowitz.
Family and close friends will commemorate Russell at a funeral service at 1 PM on Wednesday, March 2nd at Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Mortuary in Zionsville, Indiana.
Friends are welcome to attend a visitation Tuesday, March 1st from 6 - 8 PM at Aaron Ruben Nelson Mortuary.
