Ruth Ellen Cox, 73

Ruth loved spending quality time with family and friends. She loved visiting Hoosier Park Casino, and her beloved dog Mis-Fit.

Ruth passed away peacefully on Thursday June 14th at St. Vincent's Anderson Regional Hospital, surrounded by her family and friends. She was born March 22, 1945 to Jay and Martha Herndon. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, 6 siblings, her son Robert Bowman and her beloved husband Harry Cox.

She is survived by her daughter Tina Brummett, her two sons, Randall (Jessica) Bowman and Eddie Bowman; Step Children: Harry J Cox, Loha Jackson (Cox), and Laura Keever (Cox). Also survived by brother, Rick Herndon, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many friends.

Per Ruth's wishes, there will be no services. Donations may be made to the Animal Protection League Inc. in her name.
