Ruth (Singer) Neumann
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother; Ruth Neumann passed away, June 9, 2018 at the age of 90.
Born in Vienna, Austria on May 21, 1928, she came alone to this country fleeing the Nazi regime at the age of 10. Ruth was a proud American Citizen who graduated high school early and became a bookkeeper. She will always be remembered as a gentle, understanding, kind, and witty soul. She will truly be missed.
Ruth is survived by her loving children, Vicki Neumann and Gary (Pam) Neumann; grandchildren, Lauren (Philippe Jackson) Neumann and Leah (Marcio) Braz da Silva; and great-grandchildren, Jax and Ines Jackson. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harry; and grandson, Logan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the American Heart Association.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 1 P.M. in the Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation North Cemetery.
