Sandra Harworth passed away on April 5, 2023 in Indianapolis, Indiana at the age of 66. She was a loving mom, sister, grandmother and friend . She is survived by her loving daughters, Amber (Brian) and Holly (Ben); siblings, Cheryl (Henry), Robert, and Karen (Moshe); two nieces; two nephews; five grandchildren; one great-nephew; and her beloved friend, Diane.
Sandra was born on August 3, 1956 in Ferndale, Michigan to the late Norman and Marjorie Marxer. She moved to Southern California as a young child where she established her roots in Colton, CA. She raised her two daughters while obtaining her bachelor’s degree and teaching credential from Cal State San Bernardino. Teaching was her calling and passion. Sandra was blessed by hundreds of students who entered her classroom. She taught in the Colton Joint Unified School District for over 15 years. After retirement, she moved to Westfield, Indiana and enjoyed spending time with her youngest grandchildren.
To know Sandra is to know the jewels in her crown were her family and anyone who knew her can attest to that. She was an extremely loving mother and grandmother and her family brought her such joy. Her most profound impact left a legacy of faith-how to love The Lord and how to be a loving mother.
The family will be having a private ceremony in Corona Del Mar, CA. In lieu of flowers, books and donations can be made in her honor to Walter Zimmerman Elementary 11050 Linden Ave,. Bloomington, CA. 92316 or Grand Terrace Elementary 12066 Vivienda Ave., Grand Terrace, CA 92313.
