Scott David Brown, passed away surrounded by his family and friends on February 6, 2014 at the age of 39.Scott was born January 24, 1975, in Indianapolis, Indiana to his loving parents David and Joan Brown. He was raised in Zionsville, Indiana where he graduated from Zionsville Community High School in 1993. Following high school, Scott followed his lifelong dream of playing professional soccer in Costa Rica. He came back to the states to follow his high school sweetheart to Ball State University and graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice 2000.
Scott worked as an insurance adjuster for 13 years before he decided to follow his second dream as a freelance writer with a focus on the European Soccer League and web design. He loved playing soccer, golf, exercising, and spending time with his family and friends. He will always be remembered as "Brownie" and will be truly missed by all those who knew him.
Remaining to celebrate his life is his wife of 7 years, Reanna Johnson Brown; his parents Dave and Joan Brown; brothers, Chris Brown, Tim (Lisa) Brown; sister Cassandra Roeder; nieces, Olivia Roeder, Jade Johnston; and nephews Taylor Brown and Toby Brown.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
A visitation will be held at ARN Mortuary from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 11, followed by a 6:30 p.m. service. Dinner will be provided to family and friends at the American Legion Post in Zionsville following services.
