Seymour Lee Mandel,
99, of Indianapolis, passed away July 4, 2019. Seymour was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 20, 1920 to Abraham and Celia Mandel. Seymour was a registered pharmacist from Skokie, Illinois and independently practiced there for most of his life. Seymour later moved to Robin Run. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed playing cards and reading John Grisham novels. He also was a collector of 1933 Chicago World’s Fair memorabilia.
Perhaps most notable was his love for his family. Seymour loved spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his sons, Dr. Terry (Karen) Mandel and Dr. Ronald Mandel; and three grandchildren, Lee Mandel, Brooke Mandel-Derryberry and Sara Mandel-Prat.
