Sharlene Marquand Hinton
60, of Englewood, Florida was born on May 5, 1955 and passed away surrounded by her loved ones on December 15, 2015 in Zionsville, Indiana. Sharlene bravely battled her cancer for nearly six years, enduring so much, never complaining, always smiling.
Sharlene was born in Anderson, Indiana. After moving, she graduated in 1973 from Bloomington High School South. She later lived for nearly 20 years in Oxford, Indiana and the Greater Lafayette area before moving to Englewood, Florida. Sharlene was a financial advisor, retiring in 2010. She loved everything about living in Florida, the weather, her friends, boat rides, karaoke, and her favorite, the Sandbar.
Sharlene is survived by her beloved son, Chad Hinton, daughter-in-law, Emmalee Hinton, two adored grandchildren, Elena and Calvin Hinton; parents Clyde and Barbara Marquand; sister Renee Chambers (Phillip) and niece Elisabeth and nephew John Chambers (Kim); and the love of her life, Keith Mack.
Arrangements for cremation have been made by Aaron Ruben Nelson Mortuary. A private memorial service for her family will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made on Sharlene's behalf to the Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation, 12902 Magnolia Dr., MBC-Found, Tampa, FL 33612. Moffitt provided Sharlene with extraordinary care over the course of her battle.
