Stamatina Paul Samson

Stamatina Paul Samson, beloved wife and mother, passed away surrounded by her family on March 25, 2025. Born on May 21, 1955, to Paul and Mary Vavul, Stamatina was a lifelong resident of Indianapolis. She graduated from Warren Central High School, received her undergraduate degree from Marian College, her master’s degree from Purdue University, and her PhD from Union Institute.

She worked in private practice as a Rehab Psychologist. Stamatina was a member of Etz Chaim Sephardic Congregation and its Deborah Sisterhood.

She is survived by her loving husband, Joel Arthur Samson, and her twin daughters, Rachel and Leah.

Graveside services will be on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in Etz Chaim Cemetery. Rabbi Schusterman will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to Etz Chaim Congregation or the Society to Preserve Nature in Israel.
