Stanley S. Goldhamer,
85 yrs. Of Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2012.
A manufacturer's representative in the clothing industry for 44 years, he worked for Campus Sports Wear until his retirement in 1991. Stan was a US Air Force veteran of WWll. An accomplished artist and member of the Indianapolis Art Institute he specialized in Chalk and Pencil drawings of people he knew and those in the news. He was a member of Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation and Broadmoor Country Club for many years.
Stan is survived by his loving wife Arlene; four daughters, Jennifer (Clay) Coulter of Carmel, Tracey (Matthew) Pendlum of Fishers, Linda (Ernie) Hann of Indpls., Julie (Jim) Winkle of Chesterfield, Mo.; son, Dale (Ruthann) Scherl of Lawrence, Ks.; and 11 grandchildren, Emily, Allison, Sarah, Elizabeth, Kelly, Erin, Liam, Adrea, Evan, Max and Alex.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, December 27th at Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation, 6501 N. Meridian St., with burial in Indianapolis Hebrew Cemetery North.
Memorial contributions may be made to Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis or the Leukemia Society.
