Stephen Maurice Bernheim
December 22, 1934 — November 13, 2016
81, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2016 in Indianapolis. Stephen was the son of the late Sidney and Marjorie Bernheim. He moved to Indianapolis one year ago to be closer to his family after suffering a stroke.
Stephen was born and raised in Long Island, New York, where he attended Woodmere Schools. He was a graduate of the University of Alabama.
Stephen had a passion for sports, especially hockey. He spent over 25 years as an off-ice official. As a board certified sports and recreation consultant, he traveled all over as an expert witness. He also served many years on a board for Kiwanis International.
Stephen will be truly missed by his family and friends.
The family would like to extend sincere gratitude to those at Rittenhouse Senior Living and the staff of St. Vincent Hospice.
