Steve Gourley passed away quietly at home on March 11, 2015, after an extended illness. He was born in Anderson, Indiana on August 16. 1953. Steve graduated from Madison Heights High School, Anderson, Ball State University, Muncie and Okaloosa-Walton Junior College, Florida.
Steve is survived by his sons Steve (Adalicia) Gourley, Cincinnati and Joe Gourley, PA, sister, Connie Records, Brownsburg, niece Lori (Rick) Britton, Brownsburg, nephew J.R. Records, Noblesville and several great nieces and nephews. Steve also leaves RoseAnn Lockman, wife and extended family, Misty (Ron) Lockman, Carmel, David (Ami) Lockman, Greenfield, 6 grandchildren and dear friends Linnae Sutton, Indianapolis and Kay and Richard Ashton, Halifax, England, UK.
Steve was preceded in death by his father Byron Gourley, mother Charlotte Arthur and brother Kirt Gourley, all of Anderson.
A private Celebration of Life will be held in the spring. Donations to Steve's memory may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or your local No-Kill Animal Shelter.
Steve will be remembered for is amazing sense of humor and his love of sports and animals.
