Steven "Steve" L. Sherman
67 years of age, passed away on June 24, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Steve was born in Bronx, New York on June 29, 1946 to Jack and Phyllis Sherman. Steve was a US Air Force veteran of the Viet Nam War and was a proud member of Disabled Veterans of America.
He graduated from Indiana University, and worked for the past 30 years as a Physical Therapist with the last 15 in private practice.
Steve loved animals, and volunteered with animal rescue organizations and animal transport. Memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Hamilton County.
He is survived by his wife,Carol Ganza; his beloved companion, Angela Klang; daughter, Ursula Brekke; brother, Ron Sherman; nieces, Bonnie, Mindy, Debbie and Barbara; grandchildren, Ambria and Avery and several great nieces and nephews. He will be truly missed.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 29, 2014; in honor of Steve's birthday, from 11 AM-1PM in Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Mortuary, 11411 N. Michigan Road, Zionsville, IN 46077. The family would be honored to have friends share a brief memory or funny story during the service.
