Steven D. Statzer

Mr. Steven Darrel Statzer

79 years of age, of Fishers, Indiana, passed away November 6, 2019.  Steve was born in Noblesville, Indiana on February 2, 1940. Steve graduated Class of "59" Carmel, IN, He proudly served the United States Army National Guard and was a long standing member &  served  as Chairman of the House Committee for many years at American Legion Post 470 Fishers, IN.

He is survived by his daughter, Tracey (Brian) Gregor; and adopted daughters, Laura (Tom) Wood and Jennifer Statzer (Glenn McLendon), 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and sisters Treva (John) O'Toole & Judy (Bruce) Taylor.

He was preceded in death by his parents John and Melba (Williamson) Statzer and sister Barbara Joyce .

Steve will be dearly missed.

A Life Celebration will be held at the American Legion Post 470, 9091 East 126th Street, Fishers, IN 46038, on Wednesday, December 11th at 6 PM.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 470.
