Sunantha Rammohan

Sunantha Rammohan, 72, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 27, 2021 in Carmel, Indiana, surrounded by her family.  She was a resident of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Born on October 14, 1948 in Pondicherry, India, Sunantha grew up in Coimbatore, India, where she graduated from the University of Madras, with Distinction. On May 22, 1969, she married M. Rammohan, M.D. and moved to New York City, New York. In 1976, they relocated to Warren, Ohio, where they lived for 35 years before moving to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in 2011.

Sunantha received an MBA degree in Finance from Youngstown State University and worked as an accountant at a well-known accounting firm. She became the co-owner of Wedgewood Pizza in Warren, Ohio, where she served as the financial and tax partner. Throughout her life, she believed in the importance of service to others, dedicating countless hours to public service organizations such as the Tamil Nadu Foundation, where she served on the Board of Directors for many years.

Sunantha was well known for her deep and abiding compassion and kindness, and her unfailing ability to see the best in others. Her extraordinary intelligence was matched only by her extraordinary patience, humility, and grace. Her husband, daughter, family, and friends are grateful for the light she brought to each and every interaction, each and every day.

Sunantha was preceded in death by her father, S. Sreenivasan. She is survived by her mother Thirilochani Sreenivasan, husband M. Rammohan, daughter Dheepa Maturi, son-in-law Raj K. Maturi, grandsons Vikas Maturi and Jay Maturi, as well as her three sisters, two brothers, and multiple nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place on Monday, June 28, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at A.R.N. Funeral and Cremation Services, 11411 N. Michigan Road, Zionsville, Indiana.
