Terryl Leigh (Powell) Byerley, 57, of Noblesville, IN, passed away November 24, 2020. She was born in Indianapolis on April 10, 1963, to Raleigh Powell, Jr., and Marla (Scrougham) Turner. She was a 1981 graduate of Westfield High School in Westfield, IN. Terryl was a blessing to all who knew her. In addition to being a loving and dedicated wife and mother, she was also known by many to be a faithful friend and neighbor. She was always the first to lend a helping hand to those in need, and was often the first to volunteer to bring a meal or word of comfort to those who needed help or encouragement. She was a fantastic cook and gardener, and a faithful employee. Terryl and her family were involved with Mission22 organization, and they led and participated in fundraisers and events for this cause over the past few years. But above all, what made Terryl an amazing person was her passion for her family to which she dedicated her life and many talents. Her love was truly felt by all, and she will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Matthew Byerley; daughter, Samantha (Isaac Walker) Byerley; granddaughter, Aurora Sterrett; mother, Marla Turner; sister, Tammy (Steve) Jones; and parents-in-law, Wayne and Kathleen Byerley. Terryl was preceded in death by her father, Raleigh Powell, Jr.; and her son, Eric Sterrett.
Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Mission22. https://mission22.com/give
