94 years of age, long time resident of Indianapolis, passed away on November 14, 2015.
He was born on January 11, 1921 in La Crosse, WI to Joseph and Ida Tobias. During WW2, he served in the Coast Guard as a radio operator on ships; later joining the Naval Reserves during the Korean War.
Theodore retired from the USPS after almost 40 years. He was a member of Congregation Beth-El Zedeck and former member of the Men's Club.
He was a devoted family man and an avid sports fan. He and his late wife, Lee, were long time supporters of the Pacers. Theodore shared his passion for sports with his beloved daughter, Andrea Walker (Larry Price) who survives. Theodore was preceded in death by his loving wife of 51 years, Lee Waiss Tobias and his 7 siblings.
Graveside services will be held in Beth-El Zedeck North Cemetery on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at 3:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Great Lakes Caring Hospice Foundation, 3115 S. Webster St., Kokomo, IN 46902 or the American Heart Association. Arrangements entrusted to Aaron Ruben Nelson Mortuary.
