68, of Sheridan, passed away surrounded by his family on November 27, 2017. He was born in Indianapolis, IN on November 22, 1949 to the late Kennith and Rose Marie Chastain.

Thomas was a graduate of George Washington High School. He was a Millwright for National Starch & Chemical Company of Indianapolis, retiring after 28 years of service.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Marilyn "Elizabeth" Chastain; children, Thomas Chastain (Jess Workman), Ashley Comstock, and Candice (Bill) Spence; sister, Robin Cashman; brother, John Chastain; and 7 grandchildren. He is predeceased by his daughter, Charlene Siegal; grandson, Avery Siegal; sister, Patricia Harvey; and brother, Kennith Chastain.

A Celebration of his life will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, December 1, at Sheridan First United Methodist Church, 207 E. 2nd St. Sheridan, IN 46069.
