Thomas was born on November 19, 1946 to John Oren and Vona Marie (Richey) Fulkerson in Covington, IN. He was a graduate of Indiana College of Mortuary Science and an Army veteran of Vietnam War serving as a Platoon Sergeant. He was a recipient of the Bronze Star.
Thomas owned and operated Environmental Technologies, Inc for 20 years prior to his retirement. He was an avid souvenir collector and enjoyed auctions and garage sales.
He is survived by his beloved children; Sheilla (Rick) Strouse of Lebanon, IN and Jay (Kristen) Fulkerson of Zionsville, IN; 6 grandchildren, Jeremy Reed, Nicholas Taylor, Tiffany Strouse, Lillian, Grant and Lydia Fulkerson and 2 great grandchildren, Chloe and Liam Reed.
