THOMAS EARL "TOM" MOSS
75, of Carmel, IN (Hamilton County), passed away on Sunday, October 11th, 2015.
Tom loved his family and friends. He enjoyed nature and loved to be out hunting and fishing every chance he could. He also had a passion and love for sports, with basketball and golf being two of his most favorite. He loved to play golf, but he was definitely an IU basketball fan.
Tom worked for General Motors, in the Allison Gas Turbine Building located on South Tibbs Avenue in Indianapolis, Indiana. He also retired from GM/Allison Gas Turbine in 1990 after giving them 32 years of his services.
Tom is survived by his daughters, Tomi Elaina (Moss) Kinnaird, Jennie Lou Berry, and Jemmie Sue Stancil; only son, Jeffery Scott Moss; three sisters, Lynne Erdly, Patricia McDonnell, and Janie Mitchell; grandchildren, Amanda Hendricks, Jessie Dagey, Cody Kennedy, Shawna (Stancil) Martin, Tiffany Stancil, Andrew Kinnaird, Ryan Kinnaird, and Trevor Kinnaird; great-grandchildren, Khloi Bobb, Jordan Bobb, Amelia Martin, Braeden Martin, Curtis Martin, and Madison Stancil.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life and wife of 47 years, Margaret "June" (Bindhammer) Moss; parents, Cecil Earl Moss and Blanche May (St. John) Moss; sister, Judy Harvey; and grandchildren, Tyler Steven Stancil and Marcus Andrew Kinnaird.
To celebrate his life, a gathering will be held on Saturday, October 24th, 2015 from 3:00pm to 8:00pm at the Kinnaird Residence, 14267 Overbrook Drive, Carmel, Indiana 46074.
