Tim Hoover

Tim Hoover of Indianapolis, Indiana, died on January 27, 2017. He was born in Greenville, South Carolina, on November 29, 1949, to Herbert and Florence Hoover, who pre-deceased him on August 31, 2015 and December 26, 2015, respectively.

Tim was a graduate of Oral Roberts University (psychology and music) in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and of Ashland Seminary (pastoral counseling) in Ashland, Ohio; he received post-graduate training with the Indianapolis Gestalt Institute.

Tim is survived by his brother, Herb Hoover (Zindy Taylor) of Springfield, Ohio; his son, Chad Hoover, of Lexington, Massachusetts; Chad's sister, Jordan Taher; his former wife, Lurena Brubaker, of Watsonville, California; and his husband, Rusty Moe.

Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be privately held. Should you desire, memorial contributions in Tim's name may be sent to the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir, 4600 Sunset Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46208.
