Timothy Paul Siddons, 72, of Indianapolis, passed away August 31, 2022 at home with his wife and daughter by his side. A lifelong resident, he was born March 2, 1950 to the late Eldridge and Celestine Siddons. Tim spent his career as a service technician working on commercial HVAC systems. Tim was involved in many clubs over the years, some of which included: USAC, IMSA, INDYCAR, INGO, NHRA.
Most of his interests and hobbies were speed and precision related. He was skilled at building cars and motorcycles, the faster the better. Those closest to him fondly remember ATP Racing. The projects that emerged from the garage in the backyard were something most only wished they could dream up. He was involved with several motorcycle rides for charity. Tim was also an avid drag racer and competed in formerly IRP and other racetracks. Among his obsessions, one could also find Tim to be a meticulous visionary and gunsmith as well as an excellent marksman.
Even more dedicated to his family and friends, he was definitely the fix-it-all repairman that others relied upon. Extremely intelligent and knowledgeable, there was no project too big or small. Timmy was the first call you made to help figure out your plan of attack. His presence in the room of any get-together was larger than life.
He enjoyed time at home, often sitting on the deck, or by the firepit outside. Family gatherings whether at home or at the lake felt like endless summers and good times. Tim loved his beautiful, fun-loving children and grandchildren fiercely and was so proud to be their dad and PaPa. He loved being surrounded by them and their joyous craziness. He took the grandkids to school, movies, out to eat, art classes, made breakfasts, shopping, etc.
Tim is preceded in death by his son, David. He is survived by his loving wife, Cindy; daughter, Tara (Manny); sons, Paul (Patty), Scotty and Travis; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Ginger (Greg) Mourning.
Tim’s love, calmness, kindness, gentleness, and strength to his wife, Cindy, was one of a kind. It will help carry her through her time left on earth.
Tim’s dear heart – a heart of gold- is now in Heaven with his son, David, and other loved ones. He will be watching over all his family and friends.
A Celebration of Tim’s life will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2022 from 12 PM – 6 M at the Clermont Lions Club, 3201 Tansel Rd, Clermont, IN 46234.
