Timothy "Neil" Turner

Timothy "Neil" Turner, 43, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019.
Neil was born in Youngstown on April 10, 1975. He graduated from Springfield Local High School with honors in 1993 and continued his studies as a university scholar at Youngstown State University. Neil worked in management at various restaurants in the Youngstown and Indianapolis areas. Most recently he worked as Guest Service Coordinator at Wheeler Mission in Indianapolis, which he believed was his true calling.
Neil is survived by his mother and step-father, Jana and Jim Zwingler; his sister, Jennifer Turner and half-sister, Jessica Bishop; his step-brother, Jason Turner; niece Ila Bishop; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Neil will be remembered for his kindness and great sense of humor. The gaping hole that he is leaving in the hearts of loved ones and friends will never be filled, but the assurance that he is spending eternity with God is of great comfort.
A memorial celebrating Neil's life will be held on April 13th at 2 PM at The Wheeler Mission Chapel, 245 N. Delaware St., Indianapolis, IN 46204, with Matt Kunkel officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Neil's memory to Wheeler Mission www.wheelermission.org.
