Trudis Anne Patton Pugh

INDIANAPOLIS - 88, formerly of Springfield, MO died peacefully on February 26, 2019. Anne was born on February 15, 1931, in Norborne, Missouri, the daughter of the late Russell and Vivian Patton. On May 3rd, 1953 she married her high school sweetheart, Donald Lewis Pugh. He was employed by Norwich-Eaton Pharmaceuticals, in Norwich, NY where they resided for most of their married life. Anne was retired from Norwich Middle School, where she worked in the library. Together they were longtime members of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Norwich, NY and Messiah Lutheran Church, Springfield, MO.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, as well as her five siblings, Nina, Muriel, Frank, Eileen and her twin sister, Ruth.

Surviving are her children, Aaron (Cindy) Pugh and Lisa (Peter) Pogue; along with five grandchildren, Fred Ensminger, Amanda Ensminger, Drew Ensminger, Hayley Pogue and Merrit Pogue.

The family wishes to express their thanks and gratitude toward the staff at Hickory Hall Memory Care facility of Hoosier Village and St. Vincent Hospice for the excellent and compassionate care they provided.

A celebration of Anne's life and burial will take place at Fairhaven Cemetery in Norborne, Missouri at a later date.
