Tsvetan C. Ivanov, 66, of Carmel, passed away March 18, 2021. He was born in Plovdiv, Bulgaria to the Christo and Verlichka Ivanov on May 18, 1954. Tsvetan graduated with a Master’s degree in International Trading from University of National and World Economy in Sofia, Bulgaria. He also obtained his MBA in Finance from the University of Indianapolis and was a proud alumni – continuing to support the school and the students with generous donations.
He worked for FedEX and he was a Mason - part of fraternal organization. He loved helping different organizations including St. Jude, The Masons, Carmel Fire Department, animal shelters, and many more. Tsvetan supported these worthy causes in any way he could - donating money, dedicating his time and connecting people.
He loved to travel the world for business or personal vacation time and to make long lasting friendships around the world. Tsvetan enjoyed history and sought out historic locations in each country he traveled visited. He loved food and unique drinks, and was always ready to try something new and different. Above everything else, Tsvetan treasured spending time with his family and loving grand kids.
He is survived by his wife, Susie Ivanova; daughter, Yvelina Ivanova (Jeff) Cox; grandchildren, Andrew and Olivia Cox; mother, Velichkia Ivanova; brother, Dimitar Ivanova; and nephews, Manol and Christo Ivanov. Tsvetan was preceded in death by his father, Christo Ivanov.
Tsvetan will be forever missed by countless people all over the world. He spent his life in three different countries - Bulgaria, Iraq and USA and leaves behind family and close friends in all of these countries.
Funeral mass will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, March 27th at Joy of All Who Sorrow, 1516 North Delaware Street. Burial will follow in Carmel Cemetery.
