Varsha A. Patel

Varsha A. Patel, 78, of Florence, Kentucky, passed away March 17, 2021.  She was born in Zitodia, Gujarat, India to the late Chaturbhai and Dahiben Patel.  Varsha was a gifted homemaker who enjoyed cooking and was affectionately known as the queen of the kitchen.  She had a real passion for her family and was dedicated to providing for them even during her long illness.  Varsha will always be remembered for her strong family values and the sacrifices she routinely made for others.  Her legacy will be the example she set for her family of a strong, independent woman.  She truly modeled for those around her what it means to be a dedicated, giving wife and loving mother, sister and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Ashok D. Patel; children, Alpa (Samip Kumar) Patel and Shilpa (Noel Kumar) Patel-Paul; grandchildren, Marlie, Shareena, Shrey and Taneesha; siblings, Pravinbhai (Nilaben) Patel, and Kusumben (Manubhai) Patel; as well as a large extended family.

Varsha was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Kantaben Patel, Punjabhai Patel and Induben Patel.

Services will be held at A.R.N. Funeral & Cremation Services, 11411 N. Michigan Rd., on Saturday, March 20th from 2 – 4 PM.  Memorial contributions may be made to your local Hindu Temple in Varsha’s memory.
