Vincent L. Shaw,
64, passed away March 23, 2021. A lifelong resident of Indianapolis, he was born to the late Lewis Shaw and Clara Sadler on March 7, 1957. Vincent attended Manual and Wood High Schools. He worked for Western Electric for a number of years. He also served in the Indiana National Guard.
He enjoyed music, dancing, conversing with family and friends and playing bingo. During his five years as a dialysis patient, Vincent always faced his struggles with grace, courage and faith. He will always be remembered for his kind and loving spirit.
Vincent is survived by his sister, Marilyn Sadler; brothers, Kevin (Shirley) Sadler and Anthony Sadler; nephews, Mylan Sadler and Kevin Sadler, Jr.; nieces, Tiarra Sadler, Sharnell Sadler, and Anesia Lewis; as well as a host of other family and extended family. He is now reunited with his parents and brother, Keith Sadler.
A Celebration of Life will be held at A.R.N. Funeral & Cremation Services, 11411 North Michigan Rd., on Friday, April 2nd at 3 PM. Friends are welcome to visit from 1 PM until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of IN (NKFI), 911 E. 86th Street, Ste 100, Indianapolis, IN 46240.
