Wayne Shadel,
83, Indianapolis passed away peacefully with his family by his side on November 11, 2015 at St. Vincent Hospice Center.
Wayne is survived by his wife of 30 years, Linda; son, Steve (Mary); daughter, Susan; grandchildren, Steven (Natalie), Victoria and Matthew; and great grandson, Andrew.
Wayne is preceded in death by his first wife, Olga; his sisters, Jean, Leona and Virginia; and stepson, Randy Archer.
He was a consummate story teller and loved to reminisce about life experiences, the people he met and knew, especially while he played for the Chicago Cubs "farm team" in Janesville, WI.
His wicked sense of humor and generous spirit will be missed by all.
Visitation will be on Saturday, November 14, 2015 from 3-7 PM at ARN Funeral and Cremation Services, 11411 N. Michigan Road. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent Foundation.
