Wilbur Lewis Dunn,

83, of Plainfield, passed away April 3, 2018. He was born in Indianapolis on December 15, 1934 to Erba and Ona Dunn. After graduating from Washington High School, he worked for Lilly Industrial Coatings as a service man for 44 years, interrupted only by serving in the United States Army.

Wilbur is survived by his wife, Barbara; children, Jeff (Sanille) Dunn, Kathy (David) Gaston, and Jenni (Brian) Henry; eight grandchildren, Kendra (Brett) Jamieson, Robert Dunn, Brandon, Mitchell, Logan and Reece Gaston, Jason (Morgan) Henry, and Brooke Henry; and two great-grandchildren, Isaac and Amelia Jamieson. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Woodrow Dunn, Floyd Dunn, Christine Denton, and Cleo Tapy.

A memorial service will be held at Hazelwood Christian Church, where he was a member, 9947 S. County Rd O, Clayton, IN 46118 on Saturday, April 7th at 11 AM, ministers Steve Ranson and Gary Cornwell officiating. Friends are welcome to visit from 5 - 7:30 PM on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hazelwood Christian Church Food Pantry at the services or online as follows:
