His multifaceted career encompassed podcasting, writing, and filmmaking, with a consistent focus on horror and independent music. He was a proud graduate of North Central High School and furthered his education at Butler University, where he nurtured his love for storytelling and the unexplained. Zack's dedication to exploring and sharing the unknown resonated deeply with his listeners, reflecting his vibrant spirit and sharp intellect.

In 2006, Zack launched "The Mothpod," a weekly podcast dedicated to showcasing independent music. The show quickly gained traction, attracting over 10,000 listeners and producing more than 200 episodes. Demonstrating his passion for horror, Zack initiated "31 Days of Halloween," a monthlong celebration where participants watch a horror film each day in October. This event has grown into a global phenomenon, with horror enthusiasts sharing their experiences across social media platforms.

Zack leaves behind a loving family that includes his parents, Emil and Judy Daggy, and his siblings: David Knauss, Shannon Daggy Elkins, Scott Knauss, Christopher Daggy, and Samantha Daggy Allgood, as well as multiple nieces and nephews.
