Marc Edward Brewer
42, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully in his sleep surrounded by loved ones, February 7, 2022. A lifelong resident of Indiana, he was born to Darrell and Karen (Bogart) Brewer on April 28, 1979. Marc was a graduate of Twin Lakes High School in Monticello, Indiana and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana State University. He was the Safety Director at Industrial Electric overseeing safety protocols at Eli Lilly & Co.
Marc was dedicated to his friends and family, and was incredibly loved and respected. He loved spending his time boating, woodworking, and being with his two beloved rescue Boxer puppies, Josie and Emma. He enjoyed traveling to the mountains to ski and to the beach, where he married his soulmate on September 4, 2018. He will always be best remembered for his sense of humor and quick wit.
He was a devoted husband to Melanie (Lentz) Brewer. They were together for 11 years and married four. He is also survived by his parents, Darrell and Karen Brewer; grandparents, Charles and Betty Bogart, and Maxine Brewer; brother, Brad (Andrea) Brewer; niece, Stasha Brewer; and aunts and uncles, Marilyn and Dennis Snow, Ed Bogart, Ann Moorehead, Greg and Linda Brewer, and Susan Brewer. He was preceded in death by grandfather, Richard Brewer; and uncle, Douglas Brewer.
A celebration of life will be held at A.R.N. Funeral & Cremation Services, 11411 N. Michigan Rd, on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 4 PM. Friends are welcome to visit from 2 PM until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to a fund established for the benefit of the Brewer family via Venmo @BrewerFund.
